Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman has been a gymnast from the US for more than ten years. She was part of and was captain for the US Olympic Female Gymnastics Women's Team, The Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). At the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the team floor as well as the individual competitions. The bronze medal was awarded through using the balance bar. It made her the Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. Gold medals she took home in the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold for the American team. It made her along with fellow teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to accomplish this accomplishment. In addition, she was awarded silver medals at the individual all-around event as well as for the floor. The three years that passed between her two Olympic Games her break was taken. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. She began learning gymnastics when she was two and her most favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly donates towards the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. She would like to become fashion-forward and increase the line of leotards and socks in the near future. She is writing a book titled Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
